The European Commission is the legislative body of the European Union. It provided funding for GDI-Uganda’s child protection project through Plan International Uganda and Facilitation for Peace and Development.
Plan International works to promote the safeguarding of children in 51 countries across Africa, Asia, and the Americas. It provided funding from European Commission to Facilitation for Peace and Development then sub granted to GDI-Uganda’s child protection project.
Facilitation for Peace and Development supports vulnerable people in Northern Uganda especially women, to overcome conflict and food insecurity. It sub granted funding for GDI-Uganda’s child protection project.
Vitamin Angels provides vitamins to mothers and children under five at risk of malnutrition – reducing preventable illness, blindness, and death – to create a healthier world. It currently provides Vitamin A supplements and deworming product for GDI-Uganda’s “A Healthy Body with Vitamin A” program.
Currently supports operation of GDI-Uganda’s Orphanage. GDI-Uganda partners to supplement Government of Uganda efforts by providing services and programs to hard-to-reach communities of Northern Uganda.
